One of the first questions when planning a trip to Valencia is how to get from the airport to your accommodation. The good news: Valencia Airport (Manises) has its own metro station, and in most cases you won’t need a car or a taxi at all.
A direct metro from the airport
Two Metrovalencia lines run straight from the airport: line 3 and line 5. The station is in the Regional Terminal, on the ground floor, right next to the arrivals area, so you won’t need to leave the building to find it. The journey into the city centre takes around 25 minutes.
Tickets are bought at the machines in the station itself (the system works by zones, A/B/C/D depending on distance — check the current fare at metrovalencia.es, since prices can change).
Staying in Arrancapins? No need to change lines
This is the question our Arrancapins guests ask most often: the Àngel Guimerà stop serves both the airport lines (3 and 5) and lines 1 and 2, which reach Plaça Espanya — it’s one of Metrovalencia’s main interchange stations. Since that same stop is only 400 metres from our apartments, there’s no need to change lines at all: you board at the airport and get off directly at Àngel Guimerà.
From there, the Silk Exchange and Plaza del Ayuntamiento are just over a kilometre away — about a 12-15 minute walk through the historic Extramurs district.
Staying in Monteolivete (City of Arts and Sciences)
Our Monteolivete apartment sits a bit further from the metro (the nearest station is around 1.9 km away), so in that case it’s usually more comfortable to combine the metro into the centre with a short bus or taxi ride for the last stretch, especially if you’re travelling with luggage. It’s still entirely doable without your own car.

If you’re staying in Arrancapins, Valencia Airport is literally one metro line away from your front door, with no transfers and no need for a car at any point of the trip — one of the reasons why, even though none of our apartments has its own parking space, hardly any guest misses it.
