Las Fallas takes place every March and is by far the busiest season for accommodation anywhere in Valencia. If you’re thinking of coming, here’s what’s worth knowing before you book.
Book well ahead
The city fills up with visitors from across Spain and abroad, and availability shrinks fast as March approaches — prices rise across the whole city, not just at places like ours. If you already have dates in mind, the sooner you reach out, the better.
Where to stay depending on what you want to experience
If your priority is being close to the daily mascletà at Plaza del Ayuntamiento and the historic-centre atmosphere, the Arrancapins apartments are a 12-15 minute walk from the square.
If you’d rather have something a bit quieter but with a lesser-known must-see nearby, the Monteolivete apartment is 100 metres from the Fallas Museum, home to each year’s pardoned fallas figures — the ones saved from the fire by public vote — and a short walk from the Ofrenda route.

What to keep in mind
Central streets close to traffic and get busy on the big days (especially 15-19 March), so getting around on foot or by metro is more practical than by car. The firework noise is part of the experience — if you’re travelling with family or are sensitive to noise, it’s worth knowing in advance.
